Get Out More Workshop

Would you like all the benefits of getting outdoors more?

Maybe you want to feel more confident about getting out, either on your own or with family and friends? 

Come and join us at a relaxed workshop to find out more about planning a route, reading a map with confidence and how to make the most of your time outdoors.

 

We will also look at personal safety, some tips about how to make the most of time outdoors and introduce you to some new activities.

The workshop lasts three hours and is entirely outdoors so please dress appropriately!

 

Please bring water or something to drink and wear sunscreen or waterproofs if appropriate.

Workshop cost £45 including relevant OS map for Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire area.

Community Groups and Education

I love to share my passion for the outdoors!

So if you are looking for someone to talk to your community group or run a session to inspire and engage them, talk to me.


Whilst I love to tell everyone why being outdoors is so good for our mental and physical health, I also love creating fun activities to show people how to make the most of the outdoors.


We could look at nature mindfulness, maybe make nature bracelets or do some earthing and forest bathing? Or perhaps learn a new skill like mindfulness to manage stress and anxiety. Or learn to read a map?

 

I have many, many fabulous activities to choose from.


My background teaching young people, particularly those facing challenges, means I have lots of ideas for these groups and love to work in this way.
