I believe completely in the power of spending time outdoors in nature to improve our physical and mental health and wellbeing. The massive bonus is it can also increase your productivity, give you greater clarity, creative thinking and better decision making. It really can be that powerful!
I know this from personal experience but there is an increasing body of evidence that supports this too.
Some proven benefits include promoting a positive mood, a reduction in stress and anxiety, increased self-esteem, improved personal resilience, better social functioning and inclusion.
And the really great news is that ANY time in nature is beneficial, you don’t have to spend days in the wilderness, you can just have a coffee in the local park.
